Rule of Thirds

This photo assignment takes the normal, "passive" photos and gives them a new perspective. These images help the viewer to take regular photos and look at them in a different way.

  1. I really like how simple your photos are and they really demonstrate the rule of thirds

  2. Very beautiful photographs. All of them really exemplify the Rule of Thirds. Only suggestion is to try and experiment more with the rule, perhaps divide the frame vertically, as pretty much all of them have a horizontal division. Great job, nonetheless.

  3. I really like all of your photos ingrid. The slight desaturation and simplistic nature of them make the rule of thirds stand out and emphasize the chosen subject. They are all very ethereal and innocent to me and combined with the rule of thirds you managed to create a successful and balanced picture.

  7. I really like the naturalistic and original approach you took in this cohesive set of images. I think the black and white development creates a very ambiguous set that leaves it open for the viewer to interpret. This is a great Rule of Thirds set.
