Series Project Draft #3

In this series I tried to experiment with different emotions. I also tried to use different filters and effects on each one of the photos, and played around with different shades of black and grey.

  1. Nice photos Ingrid. I like the variety of moods and expression you've created in your photos. Having contrasting face expressions side by side really brings out the true character of the model.

  4. These are all awesome. I especially like the one of you because of the fade of emotions. I like how you did not contrast happy and sad and instead, active and passive emotions.

  5. Really like how you're bringing some emotion and storytelling into this draft. It's helped keep things fresh and progressing. The second shot is especially strong for said reasons.

  6. These have great narratives even though they're silent photos. I like that there are two shots in one I think it adds complexity to the photos.

  7. these are really awesome pictures. i like how the opaque portraits are overlapping with the original pictures. i also think that using black and white for these was a great call and you not have achieved as much success had they been in color. good job ingrid!

  8. This is a very interesting third series, Ingrid. I really like the more natural mood you were able to portray in this series through a black and white approach and simple white backgrounds. The contrasting emotions you explore through overlapping portraits really helps set the mood.
