Narratives

This assignment took the normal, single shot and transformed it into a collage of several shots. We used all of the shots in the collage to create a story.

  1. I really like these photos! You've created a simple yet unique and interesting story line with your narratives and have accomplished this assignment extremely well.

  4. Really interesting stories, though the second set was a little too simple if you get what I mean.

  5. Good work Ingrid. I like the simplicity; they're easy to follow, though the second was probably a bit too simple.

  6. Cool stories. I agree with the others that the middle is a little on the simple side, but I like that they are easy to understand.

  7. I really like the unique stories you chose. I think the second and third series focus less on narrative and more on sublet differences between pictures, which is also a very strong approach to portraying diptychs.

  8. i really like your photos, especially their simplicity. everyone is saying that the second one is too simple but strangely i think that one is my favorite. i also really like your third because of the same reason. the first one is funny and playful but isnt as interesting as the other two. great job

  10. I really enjoyed your photos. i really like your first story i think that it was the right choice to use four slides instead of three. Overall i think that is a very good series

  11. i love that you put your stories into black and white. They all had fairly simple ideas behind them but the simplicity of black and white actually helped them. The second image seems the strongest to me because i think many of us have our stories behind learning to tie our shoes and is very relatable. good job!
